In 2024 we awarded 3 scholarships – totaling $15,000
this makes 209 scholarships for a total of $129,550 since 2006!!

Upon the death of our Hero, a scholarship fund was set up in Justin Norton’s name. This was one of his requests if he did not return from Iraq.

2024 Scholarships Awarded:

A total of $15,000 in scholarship awards were presented to seniors at the following schools:

Rainier High School, Rainier, WA

Two (2) applicants at Justin’s Alma Mata – received a scholarship in the amount of $5,000 each

Yelm High School, Yelm, WA

One (1) applicant – received a scholarship in the amount of $5,000.

2023 Scholarships Awarded:

2023 Justin Norton Memorial Fund Scholarship
A total of $17,000 in scholarship awards were presented to seniors at the following schools:
Rainier High School, Rainier, WA
Three (3) applicants at Justin’s Alma Mata – received a scholarship in the amount of $5,000 each
Yelm High School, Yelm, WA
One (1) applicant received a scholarship in the amount of $2,000.00.

A total of $9,750 in scholarship awards were presented to seniors at the following schools:

Five (5) applicants at Justin’s Alma Mata – received a scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 each
Three (3) applicants at Justin’s Alma Mata – received a scholarship in the amount of $500 each
Yelm High School, Yelm, WA
One (1) applicant received a scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00
Three (3) applicants received a scholarship in the amount of $750.00 each

2007 Scholarships Awarded:

In June of 2007 24 Justin Norton Memorial Scholarships were awarded . At his Alma Mata of Rainier High School every senior that applied for his scholarship was awarded one in Justin’s memory.  In addition scholarships were awarded to 2 Yelm High School seniors and 2 Tenino High School seniors.
